need help with planning a project for a senior exhibition
 

at my school, you are required to perform a senior exhibition project. In this project you choose anything that may be of interest to you and write a paper and complete a product for it. some examples i have attended are the 'economics of baseball' and 'cross breeding of show horses'. anyways, i decided on an automotive project covering the basics of creating a high performance engine, and i will explain many of the technical aspects associated with car performance.

Well, for my subject, i wanted to do a symposium on 'How to build a 12s car for $12,000.'

I just want some input on some ways to achieve this, but the trick is the car has to be bought with the $12,000, then to use the rest on upgrades. I posted this here because i think it can be achieved with an engine swap, such as an h22a into a crx or b18c into an early 90's civic hatchback.
