Need help with a D-series Hybrid
I'm helping a friend figure out what we need to do get a Y5-Y8 Mini-me running in a CRX Si.
He has:
90 CRX Si OBD0 ECU and all Wiring, dead original motor
Y5 block + Y8 Head completely assembled
The motor was running previously in a 98 EX, but the ECU did not make it over, and we dont know if it was converted to OBD1 or not.
VAFC
We're trying to find out the following info:
Can the 90 Si ECU + VAFC work? if not, would a 92 Si ECU?
Are there any wiring changes that need to be done for the distributor and injectors?
What about the knock sensor?

Re: Need help with a D-series Hybrid (fireant)
convert it to obd1 and use a 92-95 vtec ecu and obd1 or 2 dizzy
and the knock sensor is useless you dont need it thats all you gotta do
and it will run like a winner

Re: Need help with a D-series Hybrid (LA_HONDAS)
Thanks!
We have a stock 92 Si ECU so it should be good to go.
Will we need to re-pin the OBD0 plug to fit the OBD1/2 Dizzy?
Should we be able to just bypass the resistor for the injectors?
