Need Help: code 41 in 94 cx w/jdm b16
ok so ive been trying to find out what exactly causes this code, and seems to usually be a wiring problem.
It seems that in doing a swap into a vx, where you have to go from 5----->4 wire o2, this code appears. Not sure if the case is the same in the cx.
Now, im not too scared of wiring, but i dont want to **** anything up.
Does anyone have any info on this? Ive searched but havent found anything definitive.
Also, does this o2 heater code cause the car to run rich?
Mike

O2 Sensor Input - WHT to D14 (needs to be a shielded wire)
Heater Control - BLK to A6
Sensor Ground - GRN to D22
Sensor Voltage - BLK to A25 or B1
You basicly have to hard wire the four wires to the ECU
Make sure that you use a sheilded wire for the sensor input

Yes
at idle when the engine is warm
The ecu uses set fuel maps in the ecu itself when it does not see or a nonworking oxygen sensor

ok so is there any way to know if it is in fact wiring, or a faulty o2?
also, how do you tell the difference between the two black wires?

It is most likely the wiring but you can check the sensor with a multi meter (will get the specs for you tommorrow)

Well
the problem is that different trims and model arange the wire differnetly so that it is hard to tell you without knowing what trim and car the sensor came from

what exactly do you mean by a pain in the ***?
