Default NEED HELP BADLY...CLICK,LOST POWER

I have a H22 in my 96 hatch well when im driving it will make a clicking noise(sounds like its coming from the ecu but from my knowledge a ecu does NOT click) But anyways it wont go over like 4000rpms and feels like i only have 100HP and then in 15-20 minutes it will go back to normal..if this helps i have a chipped ecu(not sure what kind..lol i got it from a costa rican that couldn't speak english that well LMAO) and it has a OBD2 TO OBD1 conversion harness..PLEASE if you anything or just alittle bit of knowledge of this inlighten me please

check compression or leak down test. might have valve bent.
