ok, i just sold my h22eg and starting new project. im gonna get a 99ek hatch. im debating between a b16 of b18c. is a big difference between these motors as far as me feeling the difference. i would like to run at least 13's with the car. also i was gonna put a hasport driver side mount just cause they look good, with that will the rest of the stock mounts line up(i know i need a si rear mount). thanks a lot guys!!!

well seeing as the b18c has a noticeably larger amount of torque id go with it.
though i can say a b18c1 powered civic feels slow after driving my h22 civic.

Well, I have a 97 hatch and my friend has a 99 hatch. I have a stock b18c (Jdm Itr) and he had a modded b16. It was no contest. I had an extra person in the car and his car is gutted. I beat him by like 6 cars before getting pulled over. This was a run from about 50-120. I would say b18c all the way!!!

so if i get the complete change over from hmotorsonline, i just need a 99-00 si rear mount right? the rest of it is just drop right in?? i know i need the harness jumper and ****. should i get a obd2 or obd1 motor??

I would go with obd2 because it's a newer engine. Most likely it will be in better shape than an older obd1 model. There are a few more things you will need depending on the motor you buy. If you get the Integra engine then you will also need a driver's side mount bracket. If you get a jdm itr engine then you will need a obd2b to obd2a jumper. If you get a 96-98 hatch then you don't need this. One good thing about getting a jdm engine, is even though the engine is obd2, they still run obd1 programming. Which allows you to remove the cat and second o2. I will find the site that I used with my swap and post it later.
