Since my motor gave out on me this past week i deceide that this is the best time to swap in a new motor. so i decided to do go with a obd2 b18c gs-r complete swap. i know i saw some write ups on the internet some time ago but cant find it anymore . i searched here and cant find anything, the engine ill be getting is the odb2 usdm motor from Hmotorsonline.com to be swapped into a 99 civic hatchabck dx. is there a write somewhere to do this swap, ill be doing this with a friend in a garage he has.

use all the B series stuff. You will need most of 99-00 si mounts.

Then its drop in dude. Also will need a OBD2b to OBD2a harness depending on the year gsr motor you get.

thanks for the info, i already know that stuff, i just need to know if there is a step by step write up for the swap, i found one online yesterday but it was on a 94 coupe, no sure if its the same process....

keep in mind that this is my first ever swap and im doing this with a friend so thats why i need to know if anyone knows where i can go to get a write up on the swap

the info is on this site, just search, Thats all i did when i did my h22 swap....If your to lazy to search your prob not gunna finish your swap.

i tried searching but no write ups come up, believe me i tried doing search thru here and nothing is coming up. i though i saw o write up here a a while ago, (maybe more than a year??) but nothing is coming up

Since it's your first swap, your best bet is to have the Helms manual for your car and donor engine/ECU. Use the online guides (like the one in my sig) as a reference for what to do - not a step by step though.
