Default Need advice on brakes and suspension for 89 CRX going hybrid

I have an 89 CRX DX that I plan to drop a B16 or B18 into next summer. It is my daily beater and my brakes are currently in need of replacing (140,000+ miles). Can I go with an upgraded big brake set-up now or should I wait till after I do the swap. I assume changing the axels will not effect this but I could be wrong. Also plan on changing the stock shocks and springs for Koni yellow and GC should I wait on that or just get that over with as well? Will they fit with the new axels no problems correct? Looking for any friendly advice.

do a 91 civic ex brake upgrade hust get the rotors and calipers and inatant big brake kit. no its not the axles. another good upgrade is a rear disk conversion off a 92 crx si/90-93 integra all you do is take of the trailer arms and brake assemblly and get a 91si brake lines.
