My head hurts!
I've been seeing the great prices lately from osakamotors and jspecauto on there engines and I have to come to a decision eventually. I always thought about going with a b18c with bolt ons or a b16a turbo. Though now jspecauto offers a b18b complete swap for 1399.99. That with a turbo kit which costs 2300 would be about 3800. From osakamotors the b18c is 2700 and the bolt ons would run me to about 3800. Which one?

Right I know that the gsr is faster but an ls with turbo would be faster. They actually even out in the price after the gsr with bolt ons and cams compared to the ls with a turbo kit running 8 psi.

This is an easy one
Vtec...HOORAH!!!!
Non-Vtec...EHHHHHHH!!!!
Have a gsr race an ls
Neck and Neck until about second or third gear and then goodbye NON-VTEC

A turbo LS will cream a gsr with bolt ons any day of the week. get the LS turbo, you wont be dissapointed. I know from experience.

For the price, I would go with the boosted ls turbo definitely.
you can throw race gas in there, crank up the boost to 9-10 psi at the track and run 13's, as with stock gsr, all you have is the stock vtec unless you would like to stay all motor, then I would stock with the GSR motor
