my h22 swap into my 92 prelude si
ok guys so heres the deal. i blew my h23 in my 92 si, then got the jdm h22 from hmotorsonline and i started the swap. im about 50% done but i ran into a few problems, maybe you can help me out...
1. my fuel line from the filter to the motor does not reach on the new jdm motor. i got steel brided lines and im going to run them for now, are there fuel lines made that i can buy so i dont have to rig my own? any info on this?
2. my wiring harness, the main one, that came on the jdm h22 is just sitting there, and i can not find where the 5 main electrical connections go. what am i missing here? anyone?
3. the infamous distributer cap question....i know i have seen this question asked 100 times, but i never really learned the answer. so, ok, on my usdm distributer cap i have 5 holes, 4 for each spark plug, then another one where the shortest 5th spark plug wire that runs to the coil. on my jdm h22 new swap, the distributer only has 4 holes, not 5. where does my short wire go?
please any help would be greatly appriciated! thanks
James

u can either try to use ur h23 fuel rail. i dont know if it will bolt up to ur h22 block. or u can get a 90-93 accord fuel rail, and with that u can use the factory fuel line. or u can just go like u said and make one urself.

i dont know what u are talking about here... u'll want to use ur original h23 harness and fit it to ur h22.

the jdm prelude motors have internal coil distributors . the usdm ones have external coil dizzys (that short wire connects the dizzy to the coil).
1 u can either rewire ur h23 harness to fit the internal coil(i would recommend this) or i'm pretty sure u can go get an obd1 usdm external coil distributor.
