My H22 swap Done But Have Problem Axle.
I finished my swap, everything works fine for now except Im haveing trouble with the axles. Whenever i make a slite left hand turn, the car vibrates really bad, the more i turn the worse it gets, When i turn right the car is fine. Im running custom axles( the shop told me they combine axles for the h22)
What do u guys think i should try,
, its a 2000 ex, with an obd1 h22, HCP Mounts, For the midshaft, Im using the one that was on my motor, It had a female outer, if that helps. Oh the car is dropped on Neuspeed Race Springs.
Here are the pics.

another one of these posts i swear to god that search button works wonders but dude check this out I too was experiencing the same problem you are for awhile and everybody was saying run the 90-93 integra axle which I tried on 3 seperate occasions none of which worked so I did probably what that shop did. I bought an H22 axle which after comparing both axles I determined i needed about an inch longer in length which in the end the integra axle was too short and the H22 axle was perfect. I knew I wouldn't have problems with the axle slipping out once in considering the fact that the H22 axle was designed for that tranny. But my other concerns was binding of the axle and the outer cv joint which goes into the wheel hub. The prelude outer cv joint is obviously too big since its for a 4x114 hub and the civics stock are 4x100 and the integra outer cv joint would be perfect. So I just basically swapped the outer cv joint from the integra axle onto the H22 axle and wolla everything was fixed. No more axle slip outs, correct axle length, the H22 axle is bigger and stronger than the integra axle so dont have too worry as much about axle snapping. So unless you've got some money to fork out for expensive aftermarket Hasport or DSS axles I would highly suggest doing the prelude/integra axle hybrid just so you dont have to deal with the headache anymore for sure but thats just me.

K i pickup up a 89 teg axle, for the pass side, popped it in, and now all the vibration is gone, can turn left without problems, Oh the 89 axle was noticebly smaller in lenght then the axle i had before.
