My H22/EK is finished. But my dyno results are crazy!
Ok if you have read anyone of my other post you know that I have a h22 in a 99 hatch ek. My friends and I did the swap (our first) our self. Took about two days and a bunch of cut up nuckles. My friend fucked up my harness so I took the car to Intercrew in Richardson. My engine only has a short ram intake and a 2 1/2 header-back exhaust. Phillip at Intercrew strapped it to the dyno while me and my friends looked on and it put down 179 whp and 148 torque. This sounds a bit crazy to me because most people with h22 put down 168 or so, but I have seen other h22 put up numbers like mine. Anyone have any ideas why? He is using a dynojet model 248c dynamometer. Me and my friends have gone to just about every car shop in Houston and Dallas and Intercrew has some of the coolest people working their.

congrat on those numbers. Seem like you got one healthy motor. When your friend did the wiring job and the job got fixed it. What was the problem? Was it just bad wiring job. I've been following your other post.

Great numbers, but dyno's differ from each other depending on their calibrations. You'd have to compare other h22's on that thing to yours to really know if your making great numbers or if their dyno is slightly off by 5whp.

My friend is a bit of a nut.....he has an obd 0 engine working in his 98 civic. Not really sure what all was wired up wrong. I printed out the sticky on the h22 thread for him but I think he didn't wire the resistor box right.
I have heard the same thing about dynos being +5/-5 hp. Carboy in houston will do a base run on my car when I get my an-r header so hopefully I can compare the two. But the an-r is a couple of months away.
