My H22 Civic keeps dying!!!!!!!
I replaced my battery and my alternator, and my car still dies after driving it for about 5 minutes. Why is it doing this????? Could it be the wiring? I had Suprdave do the harness, so I'm assuming it's correct. Any help is much appreciated. I'm so damn right now.....

I'm throwing 3 codes, IACV, knock and egr. Luckily I managed to coast into autozone so I could jump the car. I barely made it home (right around the block) before it did it again. It'll run for about 5 minutes, then you the tach stops working, the speedo stops, the blinkers go dim and then its done.

Is your alternator belt tight enough? If it's not, it's always going to die shortly after you start it up.

Ok, I was just thinking you may be throwing the ELD but wasn't sure. That's an alternator connection problem going to the battery, or something to that effect.

I replaced the alternator for him today. It is a remanufactured alternator forn NAPA. I did not test it at their shop before I installed it. I can pull it back off in 5 min and have it tested. The white wire on the harness looks to be good. I had my buddie hook the alternator testor to the car. It was not giving an output signal.
