my car stalls when i hit throttle
i hit the throttle and my car goes for a second, then it acts like the fuel gets caught off or my ignition shuts down and wants to stall. the only way i can recover is to hit down my clutch. i got new distributor, new spark plugs, timing is set correct, tps/map/crank sensors all are good and in working order. compression is 160 across (low compression pistons). i have no clue what it is. i think my fuel pump is good since its walboro255 and its only a year old. my injectors are good too. what causes my car to do this?

its been doing it since the build of my motor. i have check engine light but i cant read it. i have unplugged all the sensors one by one and drove it and still does it so its not the sensor. it idles perfect and timing light varifies my timing. im stumped.

that's really weird that you can't pull the cel. you need to figure that one out. I've had a similar problem before though, I was running way to rich and it would bog the engine. do you have an adjustable fpr?

how do i manually check cell? i tried the jumper method and my cel dont flash. so u think im running too rich? ill try bypassing the fmu and run with regualr injectors and see if that'll fix it.

i have tried that and two other sensors on the intake manifold that interchanges.
