My best choice for engine?

My best choice for engine?
So I have a regular 90 crx. Getting ready to buy me an engine to swap in. My ? is what would be the best choice. Going to be doing mostly straight line racing (1/8th drag strip). Will be doing a turbo. Ive looked up many options did alot of research but just need some experinces with each motor.I really want which ever has the most potiental off FI. My 1st choice would be the h22a, but because i want to turbo it, wouldnt have money for a h2b conversion for awhile...Just dont want to buy an engine and a day later someone tell me oh you shoulda bought this because this and that if you know what i mean. Didnt really want to have to rev the **** out of the engine to make power like the 16s either...and the f20b and f22s seem to be cheaper and come with lsd tranny vs the stock h22. Also im not saying the h22 would never happen it just would be after i boosted.
So would the h22 be my best option?

Re: My best choice for engine?
How much money do you have ?
Best would be a Sleeved to 84mm GSR block with the corresponding head. Get good rods and pistons. A descent turbo and you are set for money !. but that setup all in all will probably run you in the 4-5 grand.
why not Boost your Current D series motor. Buy a cheap spare, eagle rods n vitara pistons a cheap manifold and turbo and you are in the 280hp-320 for $ 1500-$2000

If your concidering going d-series(which is really cost effective for boost) try checkin out one_cam_only and or dseries. o r g btw there's someone with a d16 with vitaras puttin down like 400+hp. Very impressive.

The H/F series engines will make more area under the curve and have a higher potential for ultimate peak horsepower....more work has been done on B series with FI but the bandwagon hasnt really pushed the H/F series....the First Civic ever in the 8's was H powered....the potential is there...larger head, flows more, still DOHC VTEC...just more cubes
H/F series motor with B series trans...tough combo to beat apples to apples
For now, save your money up and keep researching
