Default My B16A2 has no vtec oil pressure switch, but my P28 needs one!

Hi there,

I've got an on going swap. The engine is a B16A2, the ecu is a chipped P28, the chasis is EG8. (Which is not important right now ) The ecu looks for vtec oil pressure (D6 pin) but the engine only has vtec solenoid (what runs to the A4 pin), so there is no vtec oil pressure switch on my engine.

I've heard that if i run a wire from A4 to D6 vtec will work fine. Why? Does anyone have a god explanation? Does anyone tried this before? (I really don't want tu burn my ecu...)

Thanks!
