Looks really clean!, you should have done a wire tuck. Oh yeah I think this is the wrong forum for this.

why are you using that throttle body? You also really need to get the A/C compressor bracket on there. Its a torque mount and is GREATLY needed.

Ohhh, we got a know it all on board here. Well hey, enjoy the wheel hop and additional stress placed on the other mounts. I would take the time to point out that even on the cars that came without A/C in japan you will still find that mount in use, but hey..... What would I (or Honda) know compared to you?

That throttle body looks like either a prelude, early B18, or very very early B16 throttle body. Notice the external map sensor. I was simply asking why you were running an external map.

Not a know it all, I have simply takin care of the torque issue on my own with some TIGed brackets.... so thanks for that lil paragraph of criticism though. I like when people think they know more about other peoples cars...

As for the TB, that Im not familiar with (the famous torque mounts are taken care of in my own way) and since Im a know it all Im not familiar with the TB situation you brought up so thanks, I will read more about that and see if theres anything better I could do, unless you (know it all) can tell me??

um try not being an a## and accept the help that is given to you. it IS a torque mount and should be used. the fact that you supposedly tiged something up in its place does not change its function. you said its not a torque mount, which it is.

instead of taking what hybrid said with a grain of salt you insult him back while asking for more help at the same time. nice one.

...when you posted this on a public forum.

back OT,

adding gussets or ribs to existing mounts/brackets is one thing, however, that all would be unnecessary if you simply used the ac bracket and tq mount. Remember you are dealing with an open deck hunk of aluminum; the best bet is to try to stick as close to possible to the factory stress distribution points.

I already told you. I included "or very very early B16" in my list of possabilities. Didn't know you had the first gen B16 swap. Should have forked out the extra couple hundred for the SIR II.

i did fork out the extra money for the sir2 swap hydro tranny and 95 stamped on the head, as specified 94 or newer when I ordered. so either steve swaped the TB or some of them came like that, I guess the only way to tell would be to measure it 58mm sir1 and 60mm sir2. I don't have any way to measure it or I would just so I could know
