Here is my friends question:

"i'm thinkin of doin a b20 into my 96 DX....is it possible for me to use STOCK LS motor mounts?? or any other stock motor mounts?? or will i have to get aftermarkets mounts...and where would i find aftermarket mounts...cause hasport.com does not have it.... thankx"

you can use your stock dx mounts..but for the rear use Si rear brackets

WRONG...WROng .... wrong.... You have to use the same dam mounts you use for a b16 swap and b18c swaps. There all the same. Hence B-series. I dont want to name which mounts your supposed to use so just do a quick search and youll have more than enough info on that shiznik.

You will be able to use the stock Civic tranny mount, and the upper driverside apron. You will need 99 Si rear motor mount, rear bracket, and upper driverside mount. What you use for the two front lowers is ur decision, you can go with P72, P30, P75 just no the stock Civic. CRVTEC it later!!!!!

What kind of ****** drugs are you on??? You have to buy 2 mounts... thats it.

Upper Tranny.... reuse all stock civic peices

Front Tranny.... buy the mount that bolts to the tranny (Si or any 94+ Integra) and use the stock Civic Chassis mount

Rear Tranny.... buy the Si rear bracket and use the stock chassis mount.

Cam mount.... Use the one that is on the b20 block and reuse the civic chassis mount as well as the bracket.

A/C Bracket.... Reuse the B20 bracket, bolt on your compressor, and use the stock Civic chassis mount.

Easy as hell.....

no the block mount will not work off the b20...u ned to get a blcok mount from a 2000 civic si...it should be about 40 bucks from honda

Wrong again..... have you actually done this swap before? Please do not give out disinformation because your homies told you it wouldn't work. If you want buy the Si mount from Honda for 40 bux, go ahead. You will be out 40 bux and when you compare the two you will see that they are THE SAME! Just use the mounts I listed in the previous post. I've done the swap, I know what is needed an not needed.

Yes I have done the swap...and no the b2 block mount, not cam mount will not work....Go read a book

Then I guess I have a fucked up swap then, because I left the B20 cam mount on and it works fine.... .do you want to see the pic?????

You guys are sure at each other's throats. Are you sure you guys both got the same mount on your B20's? I'm curious if the different types of B20's and the different years of the B20's may have different mounts. You guys may want to check the years on your blocks to help shed some light on this topic.
