the air wont stay in there for long you'll prolly get 2-3 runs and it'll start to leak slowly because of the width of stock 13" steelies happens to me but it'll still work though

Dump the money for slicks and cheap out on the wheels? Not a good idea. I'd get Lenso's they're the cheapest 13" drag wheel and will fit over Integra brakes even. You probably wear the slick out sooner with the DX steelies compared to a properly sized wheel.

I don't it'd be very easy to mount a tire that's 8 inches wide on a dx rim that can't be more than 6 inches wide.

It's actually not that hard to mount them because I have a set of 22x9's mounted on the stock CRX 13" steelies but I would say to get the right sized rim because when I switched them on to an 8" wide rim they hooked up alot better.
