Default Which Motor is a good choice?

ok I'm starting my new job soon, (hopefully) and Im saving up for another Civic EX coupe, now which would be the best way to go?

JDM H22a swap
or
JDM b16 swap then sell the motor to get a JDM b18c motor

I've felt the power of a fully built JDM GSR swap motor, but there are some places selling the complete swap for like 3500.00 but I wouldnt mind cheaper. Now with the H22a swap the 92-95 i've never driven one but I hear its 200bhp and about 180whp and thats a really big hp advantage over the GSR swap, but is alot heaver than the GSR swap so what do I do because the h22a swap doesnt come with all the things I need, and its like 500 dollars for axles and mounts for the motor so what to do?

and yes Im going for forced induction

If you have an ex coupe, you have an overweight beast.

You'll definitely want a lower horsepower, more expensive engine.

Well I got a buddy of mine thats selling his K20a swap and I was thinking about that, but the JDM GSR is like 3500.00 and the K20a is like 4500.00.

But I heard that the K20a in a EK coupe is like 13 secs 1/4

It depends on your goals. If this it's not daily driven, the GSR or H22 sounds like a good choise.

Since you're looking for a cheap motor to boost, I'd say boost the SOHC VTEC, but if that's not enough power for you, get an LS swap.

nah Im not gonna run the D16y8 when i get the civic, either the b or k cause D to me is too much money to spend on boosting... So either 2 things are gonna happen.

1. either get the EK with either a B series or K series

2. either get a RSX type S

I vote for number one. Those RSX-S are slow. I eat them all the time (eg h22).

Nothing really. Just a fidanza 8lb flyhweel, ACT HD-SS clutch, AEM CAI (my eg one), AEM fuel rail, AEM FPR and 255lph hp fuel pump, chipped p28 (runnin uberdata setup).

But trust me, those RSX's arent all that impressive. At least, i have yet to be impressed.
