More parts breaking on my Hasport EF H22 kit.
First, the bolt on the alternator bracket broke because of poor choice of fastener. This was within 2 months of having the engine swapped. Replacement with a proper bolt after the HAsport provided one sheared it's head off (leaving me stranded!) and it's been fine for nearly a year.
Then, my "race mounts" manage to be soft enough that a launch on worn out street tires manages to smash the TPS into the firewall (1.5" of movement) and destroy it on my first time at the dragstrip, on my first run.
Just the other week, I was having some more work done to the engine, and we find that the driver's side mount has a mis-sized spacer that had to be replaced, because tightening more would just result in the bracket bending.
I really should have gone with a custom mounting solution.
