MINI-ME VTEC HELP *** PLEASE *** D.D. Down and Out
Well I got my swap in and running finally and this is the first Mini-Me I have ever built !It's a Y8 block with a Z6 head... I bought an obd0 to obd1 jumper harness with the vtec sub-harness, have the 4-wire o2 wired up on a P28 everything seems to be hooked up correct and it will not hit vtec at all. Everyone is telling me to wire it to a switch but i'm not even trying to do that this is my D.D. and i would like it to work correct !! ALSO it will not run right with the obd1 MAP sensor so I have it running on the obd0 MAP sensor for now and it run great but when i plug up the obd1 MAP it cuts out at low RPMs like under 3000. ANY HELP YOU GUYS MAY HAVE I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR IT !! THANKS IN ADVANCE !!!!

not sure you can really "hear" the sohc vtec but try this thread for troubleshooting:
