mini me swap into dx vtec problem
My brother is having problems with his engine light coming on as soon as vtec should engage after the swap. He has a si/ex ecu as well.
Please help !!

Do you know how to jump the test connector under the passenger side dash near the ECU and check the codes?

hey y'all. im the actual guy with the problem. so to jump the test connector, you gotta tap two wires together or something right? on a plug of some sort i think. am i right? well if im not then could you plese tell me how to do it correctly. sweet!

hey man thanx for all your help and info. hope it'll work for me. but in the list of codes, alot of the codes have a "p" in front of the huge #. what is that supossed to mean?

hey sooo it came up as 22....It worked! well and it tells me that it's my vtec pressure valve. is it shot?? i guess so huh? well would anyone know what i gotta do to get it working? thanx dudes!

make sure the connection to the ecu plug is correct and that the other connector on the vtec pressure switch is grounded. if both of those are fine try switching them so they are connected to the other male pin. you may have wired them in wrong
