Default manifold sensors.

im getting ready for an ls/vtec swap into my 92 hatch and im using a gsr head. i picked up the skunk2 manifold for the gsr and i was wondering what kind of sensors and stuff have to be bolted on. really im wondering what i can use from my stock motor (d15z1) on this one. i keep reading something about IACV, whats that? thanks in advance guys.

Idle Air control valve is correct

i think the only sensors u can use is the MAP and TPS for your throttle body. the IACV cannot be used.

not 100% sure

In most cases you can reuse from the D series: MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure), TPS (Throttle Position), and the IAT (Intake Air Temp) on a B series manifold. I have never had to replace the IACV so I'm not sure if it has the same bolt pattern between B and D. If it does, then you should have no problem using it.

The IACV will bolt up i will source some pics for you tonight... i had to swap a D series IACV onto a B16a2 last night at the shop everything worked fine....

you may also want to pick up a throttle body from a gsr or ls... as the D series will be a tad bit smaller...

Do you not have any of the parts from the gsr manifold? The bracket that holds the Throttle cable is different as well as the actual throttle cable...

i will post some more once i get some pics hope that helps

I wish I didn't buy the ITR cable bracket, pretty much the same as the d-series one. I was using the D series one for a good while, and I switched it out with the ITR just because I spent the money on it, I might as well . I had to use a good deal of sensors from my d16 for the swap. All of the sensors worked. So just hold onto the ones from your d15z1 just in case you need them later.

No, no updates yet. The swap will be going down the first weekend of december. im just trying to tie up all the loose ends and do all my homework so im prepared as possible when the time comes. By the way, to post pics you hae to get them hosted first. Sign up with imagestation.com or something, upload them, then just link to them here.
