main relay no ground k swapped ek civic
im troubleshooting a 96 rhd ek civic with a k swap
rywire harness aem ecu the car started and drove few months ago then was parked in garage with battery tender on it now it cranks but wont start main relay is tested and good no ground to main relay 12 volt and ignition is there also 12 volt to ecu and the "thermostat" ground is good also at the terminal on valve cover it clicks when i ground the relay at connector but fuel pump doesnt prime fuel pump works when i put power on it at the relay besides break in the ground wire what else can it be? |

went to look at it some more today
battery tender didnt even charge the battery the whole week strangely today the main relay has ground but still doesnt click or prime fuel pump and the ignition chime is gone this is definitely some crazy electrical issue i just dont know where to look can it be circuit behind underdash fuse box ? or dash harness? it seems like the rywire ecu ground is there main relay shows ground mmagically battery doesnt charge and even when jumped still no start i looked at all the wires and plugs and see nothing that is obvious to me. is there anything special about jdm EK dash harness at all? im suspecting either burned ground wire in the dash harness or a short in the fuse box but its been a while since i dig through the electrical systems on ek so i forgot some already |
