I know of a hatch around my area that has a ls/vtec and is considered the fastest car here in town. I was thinkin since im droppin a b18c in my car if I could beat him. I will have a stage 3 act mated w/ lightened fly i/h/e and lsd to start with. So what do you think?

Check this out. If I was building an ls/vtec motor, I wouldn't just put the head on and call it a day. Most people build the motor while it's apart...things like pistons and cams. All that fun stuff
He could be the same way. You have no clue what he's running.
On a side note, my friend had an ls/vtec in his hatch and he'd destroy me everytime. It was quick...I'd be wary.

I have a JDM GSR (B18C) in my EG hatch. Only filter. Stock CX exhaust piping (with aftermarket cat) and CX muffler. I raced my friend's LS/VTEC CRX Si. JDM 4-1 headers, CTR intake cam, R intake manifold, CTR .25 overbore pistons, completely balanced bottom, 2.5" exhaust piping, and some muffler. He beat me by 3-4 car lengths. And had me from the start.

My thoughts exactly. I don't mind leaving it there I am saving money. But what comes to mind when you see one? Would you think I got a GSR?

ohh yeah you can leave the stock muffler on...just a get a nice size piping running towards your rear passenger tire... get a "domesticon 'Y'" and then weld the remaining CX pipping to that so when you are driving it will flow through the Y into your muffler and if you want to race you take off teh plate covering the other end of your Y and it will flow as if you were open exhuast
