LS VTEC Removing Lower Timing Gear. Searched
I got the crank pulley bolt out and the pulley off without issue. I am taking an LS crank out of a different block to put in my soon to be built LS/V
I can see in the keyway where i removed the pulley and it looks like the diameter on the lowere timing gear is smaller the the crankshaft. (Looks like a step in the Shaft) How does the lower timing gear come off
Thanks in advance
Jeremy

unless its mangled, it should slide off may take a little motivation from a flatblade, but should take little effort.
