LS/Vtec Conversion shop in Southern California
I'm new to this forum so I don't know if this subject has been discussed over and over again. I just got a LS integra and I want to convert it to a LS/vtec. After reading all the posts on this subject and how many things that can go wrong I was wondering if there are any shops in Southern California that is reliable that can do this kind of work, and how much it would cost to this kind of conversion.
Thanks for any help

Jon's Swap Shop, can do the head swap. With a stock Ls bottem end you will not be able to rev super high because of the bearing clearence and the fact that the Ls has no oil squirters in the girdle of the block. If you end up doing the head swap you should replace the oil pump for a vtec one it flows more oil which is better for the motor. If you want more info email me I am doing the same swap at the moment, I could tell you everything about a Ls Vtec.

Re: LS/Vtec Conversion shop in Southern California (EVOCELICA)
The shop i work for does them, and i actually have one in my integra myself. Runs perfect, with no problems at all. Its a B20 vtec fyi. I personally wouldn't go to inlinefour. My friend was the one that used to do them there, and he just quit working there last week. So i wouldnt trust anyone else that works there to do it. I have no comments about pit-crew. Don't know anyone there. Check out http://www.prospeed-performance.com if you want to see what is included in the ls-vtec conversion. I think its under the services section. Or give me an email. cbyers@socal.rr.com
