Hi guys.

I had finally saved enough to get an 96+ LS swap with labor, when I recently found out I may need more than just the motor/tranny. Can anyone run a list of exactly what MORE I need? I'm just buying a long block from hmotorsonline.com and then using my del Sol VTEC transmission.

Do I need to swap out ECU's? and if so, can I use the del Sol VTEC ecu for the LS? also do I need mounts, don't the engines dump right in? Supposedly I need "SI rear mounts"? what's that? and a intermediate shaft and AC bracket?

damn complicated. Please help thanks a LOT.

im not sure but u need a wiring harness, axles, ECU and most likely more. i have LS mounts for sale for $150 minus the tranny mount. lemme know

To answer your question, here is the list of item that you need beside the motor and tranny:

B-series axle
B-series shiftlinkage
B-series throttle cable
B-series rear L transmission bracket
GSR/LS driver side torqe mount (round billet mount with 2 studs and 1 bolt)
Basically you'll need all the mount from the Integra, but you can use the passenger side transmission mount.
OBD1 LS computer

This is what you need in order to get the LS into EG.
