LS into CRX shift linkage cutting

LS into CRX shift linkage cutting
How much of a shift linkage from an Acura LS do I cut for the motor going in my car? Or is it different with each kind of mount? I'm thinking AZ Race. Do I just put the motor in then try to rough measure or has someone done this?
