LS Idle Air Control Valve
We just put a B18B1 in my 95 civic dx, and we had to use the idle air control valve from the D15b7 motor. At start up it idles alittle crazy, but after it warms up, or I drive it, it idles fine. Is this my problem??? Do I have to get a valve for an LS motor.

does it sound like a fat person who just ran down the block? mine threw the IAC code and the idle runs up about 500 rpm and drops back down...sounds like a fat person out of breath... i was told to clean the valve out with either carb cleaner or air intake/throttle body cleaner...i haven't done it yet, but i guess if it's just clogged up, it should work...i also found out that the IAC valves on our cars (i've got the d16z6 in mine) tend to go to **** after a while...i've got about 125k miles on it, and i guess now's the time it goes...they run almost $200 from retail chains, about $100 from a junk yard...i haven't called Honda to see what they want...
