Looking to Swap B18B Automatic into my 97 Civic and have questions.
Ok I Have all this information:
Wiring:
CFK
use the CFK sensor off the B series auto harness, this is the harness near the crank pulley. On the LS it should be the 2 wire plug, on you LX harness you'll have to splice into the existing 3 wires. Two of them match colors, the third wire you do not use.
IACV
Next you'll have to change the LX three wire plug to a standard/traditional IACV plug(you won't use the orange colored wire). Need to move one pin on the A harness. If I can remember its A15 to A10 or A11.
O2
you can make extensions for the primary o2 and the sencondary o2. Since you'll be removing the cat from your D16Y7 engine you'll have to get the obd2 cat from your LS donor car.
IAT
Cut, extend, change plug style....all on your personal way of doing things. I personally run the standard B series IAT on my swaps.
OR OR OR
get a 96-98 EX harness and not have to do any wiring except CFK and the o2 fix
Mounts:
Get 99 Si rear mount
Get 99 SI timing belt mount
Get hydro tranny front torsion mount
Shift Linkage:
90+ teg
92+ JDM civic with B series
99-00 SI
washer and holder
Drive train:
Driver side axle
mid shaft/intermiate shaft (94+ LS/GSR, 94+ del slow vtec, 99+ SI, 92+ hydro setup)
Flywheel (89+ b series)
pressure plate (90+ b series)
clutch disk (92+ b series)
flywheel bolts (total of 8)
pressure plate bolts (6-9 pending on your pressure plate and flywheel)
Now I noticed this is for a 5spds swap... but if I wanna convert to automatic... I can eliminate everything i have underlined right?
