LCA and rear hub questions
I have posted about the GSR that i am trying to purchase to get some parts and conversions done. the RR LCA i know is bent on the GSR.
I have another issue. My wheel bearing on my RR on my civic is roaring with a pretty good intensity. it needs to be replaced.
My question is this: If everything else is ok, is the GSR LCA interchangeable with like a 93 Si? I know where i can get a set of those for pretty cheap~20 bucks
If i can use the rear hub from the gsr, can i use the rear lca from the si?
THanks
Michael

LCA's are interchangeable.
All Integras (1994+) have a rear swaybar endlink mount on the LCA and are interchangeable with Civics from 1988-1995, and on the 1992-1995 Si/EX it is a direct replacement.
I am not sure if the rear wheel bearing on the Si is the same as on the GSR but I would put money on them being identical. Fronts are not the same but the rear I would bet it is the same.
If you use the rear GSR hub you should be able to use your Si LCA also.

I found what is probably the main cause of my problem. My rear LCA bushings are shot- i can see daylight through it. it is causing a toe-out state, which is making the roar and odd wear. It also explains why it was kinda hard to control when i autocross.
Not to shabby at 260K :-P
