You're the reason h-t sucks sometimes. Shut up and try to help out.
Welcome to the board TurboCustomZ, and I would say the best bang for the buck swap would be a b20 shortblock w/ stock sleeves, high comp pistons, stock b16 head with cams. I keep seeing people make ~200/150 whp/trq with this setup and it's dirt cheap and will last a year.

i would say a $500 crx 6-$800 b18a, 4-$600 b16 tranny a $250 light weight flywheel,$100 lightweight crank pulley a aem/iceman cai, $250 4-1 header $60 2.25 exhaust hooked up to a $20 cherry bomb this here would not be a bad set up to start out with for a daily driver then you could always put on a turbo or b16 head. thats what i would say is the best bang for the bizuk and i would also say depending on your luck that would get you down a 1/4 mile in 14-low 15's

I can put together an h22 swap w/ i/h/e that will be cheaper, require less work and dealing with shops, and last a lifetime on 91 octane.

if you wanted to do the swap yourself, i would do a b16 or b18 (a or c1 or c5) and call it a day, i think u'll be pleasantly surprised, and now days, u can get a first gen b16 for cheap
