Default Koni FULL Coil-Overs for EK Chassis Fit on an EG Chassis?

Like the question asks, will the Koni FULL coil-overs from a 2000 Civic Coupe fit on my 1992 CX hatchback? I have been told that they will, but the guy I got them from said that they for sure do NOT fit on the DC-bodied Integras, which brings me to my next question:

If they even bolt up to my stock suspension arms, how could I run 4-wheel discs if they do not bolt up to the Integra suspension that I was about to add so I could have 4-wheel discs and bigger front brakes? 99-00 Civic Si rear traling arms and shiit bolts up?

FINALLY, does anyone have a suggestion for SPRING RATES for my car with these coil-overs? I'm sure whats good for the 2000 COUPE isn't good for my 2000lb. hatchback.

THANKS for any help on any one of these questions.

I hope you're roght, because the reason he siad it would not fit the DC is because he had them SOLD to a DC owner, but when they tried to install themn they would not fit in the rear for some reason.

Why would that be? Was a GS-R or LS, not an ITR with the "eye-hole" struts.

Perhaps the width of the bottom forks are slightly different?

Are you SURE about all the being the same? Thanks again...

I am absolutely sure they are the same. i have exhanged struts between them before. I even looked them up in the tokico and eibach catalogs and struts all share the same part numbers. Maybe the guy who tried to fit couldnt afford them so said they wouldnt fit.

A strut that is made for EK chassis will not fit on the DC or the EG chassis( rear only) the reason is, the shock fork of the EK are smaller and it will not bolt on the EG or DC control arms.

In contrary, a EG strut will fit on the EK chassi because the Fork of the shock is big enough to bolt on the EK chassi. All u have to do is get some washer to fill in gap and maybe some longer bolts.
Some manufacture uses EG shochs for EK becuse they can be fit it by addin the washers thus same part number.

Thanks- soemone else in the competition forum just told me that as well. Tokiko)sp?) struts fit ANY of the chassis listed because they are ALL big and they come with "bushings" to fit the EK, but the Konis will not fit unless I "shave" the LCA that will be on my car - like the Teg LCAs.

Thanks guys for the input
