knuckles: 2000 Civic Si vs. 1996 Integra
I have a 2000 Civic Si. The passenger hub and bearing went bad. I got a new bearing, and found a hub from a 1996 Integra (I verfied that the hubs are the same).
It turns out the knuckles are almost identical, and instead of pressing the bearings and hubs, I just put the Integra knuckle on the Si and the Si brakes, LCA, UCA, and tie rod all bolted up. It's smooth again and the nasty vibrations under accellaration and braking are gone.
My question is, are the knuckles different enough to throw off my alignment or cause any problems?
for reference, see my posts here: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/2080764
