Know what you're talking about?? click here..
I'm looking at doing a b18b1 swap into my EG..
car is non vtec, so no worries there..
I looked at the gsr writeups... looks like direct bolt... some writeups had that you need a mount from an integra ..
fact or fiction??
are stock axles are ok for the time being??
Here's what I have compiled as a list of what I need..
Engine
Tranny
ECU
shift linkage
anything more that I'll need??
I'm probably going to replace my mounts if I do the swap... should I get mounts for a teg, or will the EG mounts suffice?? I'm just goin the OEM route with the mounts..
I know a lot of questions.. all help is appreciated!

What year is your eg? if its a 94+, you already have the integra style mounts. If you have a 93 you'll need the L-bracket and the rear motor mount.
Keep the wiring harness that on the b18, on the b18. You'll also need the integra axels, shift linkage, and ecu. if you have all that, drop it in and go. very simple swap

Re: (93eg2james)
alright cool..
I wasn't sure on the axles..
had looked at this
http://www.c-speedracing.com/howto/b18cswap/
I know it's a b18c, but it's pretty much the same thing anyways... The only mention about axles was included on the last page about "replace the parts you removed"... I didn't know if they were required or not..
94- ?? for teg axles??
Thanks..

Well, where do the majority of b-series swaps come from? If you're refering to a 99-00 civic si, I really dont know. I can't see them being much different but the possibiliy is there, so I provided the information I KNEW to be true.
If you'd like find out for yourself, go on hondaautomotiveparts.com and see if the parts (axels) on the 99-00 civic Si are the same as a 94-01 integra (any model). If they are the part numbers will be the same. Let us know
