It's ok to ask questions like that in here, but if you were to go to the ITR forum and ask something even the slightest bit OT, you'll get locked or flamed.
This is Honda-Tech not Nissan-Tech.

yo man I've been doing some research my self to try and decide on a future project when I get the garage built in the new house.

check my post out n nicco and follow the links. Srswap.com gives you most of the info.

http://www.nissaninfiniticlub....46541

I like the rwd and the sporty feel of the 240 with the jdm front end conversion and the factory turbo option of the SR20DET.....ya all got to agree that its damn sexy. We have none of that with in the honda camp except the NSX and S2000...............both of which are out of reach.

But why should I go nissan over honda when honda is my real bag? thats what i'm trying to find out. basically does the SR20det have more potential for the same dollar figure.

yeah all the info is there some where.

btw that would be a real sleeper!

I don't know if you will get the reliability with the RB swap, plus you have to have your **** together to beable to perform a clean install, especially with all the wiring. In any case the RB20 seems to be the way to go over the RB25 from what I've read. Maybe some one can add to this.

Another point abuot the RB motor is that it is only a JDM production line..................getting parts must be no fun at all!

You've got some reading to do. NICO has a RB forum.

Motor mounts are the same, the transmissions are basically the same (different bellhousing though) along with the sensors, power steering pumps, and that's about it. The temp sensors are physically interchangeable, but the SR will read wrong on the USDM gauge. Oh yeah, and the thermostats are the same. Many parts can be sourced from the USDM Sentra SE-R though, which helps some, but that is mostly gaskets, oil filters, and other small stuff. That is for RWD.

FWD, as someone said, Freshalloy is a good site, but geared mostly to the RWD crowd. SR20forums I think is more toward FWD.

JGY customs should be able to help you out with either.... http://www.jgycustoms.com
