Keeping ac with h2b swap in 94 civic coupe
Ok im considering doing the h2b setup in my 1994 civic ex an just getting rid of ls/vtec. But i was wondering when doing h2b conversion into my civic, is there anyway to run AC? If not then i think ill skip doing this setup.

Re: Keeping ac with h2b swap in 94 civic coupe (IGotVTECyo)
I think one guy had it almost done but gave up or sold the car. Im doing a h2b in my eg hatch with the evo kit and i plan on having a bracket made so i can use the d series compressor off the alternator and crank pulley belt. Mine wont be done till the end of summer though i live in phoenix and dont want to ride my crotch rocket through the summer

Re: (The_Flatman)
I plan on following a similar path as turboedsupe. The main problems with running a/c are the space in front of the motor to mount the compressor, condenser, fan, and alternator. There are kits to relocate the alternator from the middle of the motor to either a lower position by the oil pan or an upper position by the valve cover. Leaving the alternator in the stock location would allow the use of a smaller belt for a more compact system, but the alternator is very close/contacting the driver side headlight assembly. Moving it might be beneficial for space.
I will be making a bracket as well to mount the d-series compressor. I am already sure the original fan will not work due to space constraints, so a pusher fan must be mounted in front of the condenser. Other than these problems, the only other problem I can think of is the fitment of the original a/c lines.
I'm from Texas so a/c is kinda essential. Thats why I'm willing to put the time into making the system work.
