k2h shifter swap issues
I have an f20b crx that I decided to swap over to the k series shifter box and cables. Im using the hybrid racing k2h adapter using k tuned street cables, buddy club shifter, and karcepts shifter mounting plate. Now my issue is shifting wise, at the track it would pop out of first gear and while normal driving I cannot leave the car in 2nd gear without it popping out if I let off the gas. I have the cables ran up between the sway bar and rear crossmember into the engine bay..
If anyone has done this in an ef and could shed on light or pics on how they did it if you did it differently would be much appreciated as I cannot find any relevant information about this swap..
have to say this yes Ive done a search and done some research and still coming up short..

Take the used gasket off and use small bead of honda bond. Or get another gasket. Switch transmission oil from Honda MTL to GM synchromesh. Give it 500 miles see if anything changes. If not swap to Torco MTF which SF sales. What I run in mine.
Your cables are tight maybe somethings not getting full actuation? Buddy Club shifter may be the issue swaping shifter... but this is just troubleshooting with things to think on.
