k24a2 w/automatic tranny into 1993
Has anyone ever done this swap?
I am buying an immaculate EG6 with automatic transmission for DD.
I wanted to know has anyone ever done a k24a2 w/auto tranny swap?
My goal is to gain some OEM power over the D15 and have an automatic transmission( I have bad left knee) for stop& go traffic.
I want to buy a salvaged 06-08 TSX( EDM,accord ), and swap the whole drivetrain.
What else do I need?
Can I fit A/C and P/S?

I dunno if it'll fit....or if I've even heard of such a thing being attempted
I mean, if a 4speed auto B18 won't fit with mods...I kinda doubt a K24 with 5-6 gears is gonna fit without some SERIOUS mods

The answer is probably "unlikely."
And the chances of someone in these forums having done it is even lower.
It would be a very uncommon swap.
ANYTHING can be done with the right amount of time, skill, and money. So yes it's possible.
It will probably be one of the most complicated and difficult to do swaps out there. Far more complicated than a regular k20 swap if I had to guess.
The market for J-series swaps is a lot bigger, and I've seen people with automatic J32s since it's so hard to find a manual transmission. Plenty of them on youtube.
With the J32, closing your hood is out of the window. Won't happen. You'll have to get a custom hood or cut it out around the valvecover.
