Hello fellow Honda-Tech members! Im fairly new to the hybrid scene but been working on and tweeking hondas for about 5 years now. i came across a 2004 K24a1 out of a CR-V and currently running a 90 4door with a d16 mini conversion. This by far is the most difficult swap i have ever attempted, or began to try to attempt. I have been only doing research for this conversion for about a week and decided to create a name on here to get feedback and learn new things. Help anyone out there. What parts do i need? EMS i should use? Axles, mounts, shift linkage? Brake and suspension setup? I hear its a hard and expensive swap but i have nothing but time and want to do it right the first time.

ems is k-pro for all k motors. there might be other options that i'm not aware of, but thats most common.

i would check with the motor mount companies like hasport or innovative, etc... to see if there is a mount setup for it. there should be because K's go into crx's and thats all pretty close.

shift linkage, use a K-series shifter setup. (EP civic/ rsx..)

axles probably something custom, DSS, Raxles, etc...

brake and suspension isnt anything weird, just upgrade them if u like with whatever is made for your car's chassis.

i don't know if the 4 door is the same way but last i checked the k24 will not be able to close the hood
