i got a 03 civic coupe i wanna put k20a engine in it. what should i get with it to get

max power. ie. turbo, nitrus, supercharger. i got 10,000 to drop under hood

including engine. i want to do work myself. need to learn so any good book

references much apreciated. should i buy engine kit or get performance parts

seperate. where do i learn this ****

for that much , you can get your swap and hondata (if you have money left ) some nice bolt ons .cause you will need a bit more to install a Turbo or supercharger

I'd turbo your stock engine instead. It just seems like a waste of money.

There was a writeup in Honda Tuning back in December 02, but its also an overview.
Try http://www.7thgencivic.com, a couple people have swaps, someone has done DIY with a little help. Wiring makes it difficult... and apparently the HAsport mounts don't fit the greatest. I don't know that first hand though.

Some turbo kits are available for the D17... numbers seem to come in around the 180-200 WHP mark, torque numbers vary from around 170-210.

hey thats my friend greg that ownz that company..(hondawerx) hes an awesome guy and has a very sick 2001+ civic coupe that has a K20A with cybernation turbo kit on it..and he also ownz an arctic blue pearl type S!..what a good taste in cars =P

spending 10k on a honda engine is a waste imo. Why don't you buy something nicer?

You can do it yourself these days for less than $6-7K and it winds up being a pretty good deal. You get more wheel HP than a Type R swap and a 6 speed to boot.

Do it yo. K20 in your civic would rock. Its an easy swap for that car and youll love it. If you got the money go for it.

If you do decide to do the swap, just make sure you get all the parts you'll need. Not just the engine,tranny and wiring.
