K20 into EG....PS & AC removal...searched
I was wondering if removal of the power steering and AC on a K20 is the same as a B-series, D-series, etc. I ask this because I saw the Evolution PS & AC removal kit and found it to be a waste of money if the removal is the same as older motors, remove belt and remove part right?? Tried searching for it didn't find anything useful. Thanks guys

Visit http://www.k20a.org for all of your k-series swap questions/information!
PS & AC removal is a breeze w/ the K motors. You just run a non-PS EP3 idler pulley, rip off the AC compressor, and slap on a 50.5" long 7 rib belt...

The Evolution kit is a really nice piece. Easy to bolt on and allows you to retain the original RSX Belt.
You can also get a light weight cranky pully made by them as well.

I had the PS pulley machined to slip on the alternator and spaced it out with washers, longer bolts. Fits great, we will see if double the size pulley affects alternator power output(should cut it in half)...
