K20 in eg or H22 questions ( yes i searched )
got a few ? i have a 93 hatch w/ an h22 in it, i was going to build it but im kinda thinking about ditching it and going with a k20, i would like to know peoples personal experiences with k20 vs the H22. and yes i have also been searching on k20a.org. also which k20 do you prefer any why (k20a k20a3 etc or k24) i have been stuck on this for a while now and need some personal experience for others to help make up my mind

true.. and also the modification that has to be done to the block...
on k swaps pretty much everythin its aftermarket.. altough they pretty much have evertything plug and play except mounts and linkage ( but they have pretty good quality on the kits )
h22 with h2b.. you can use alot of oem parts..
straight h22.. u also have to do some mods for mounts and linkage..
k serires swaps are the future and its a good plataform to start with.. and there are tons of motors out there.. too bad that honda motors are way too overprised.. there is alot of demand for...

yeah im building a boosted h22 with the h2b, Im gonna have a butt load of money in it, but if i put that same amount into a k20 swap its gonna be stock, If anything I would buy the k24 and find an rsx-s trans, then later on save up a lil money and slap a k20a2 head.

i was also going to boost mine, and the cost for everything i was going to do was just about the same for a k20 swap, and i figured i should prob just go with the k20, it will be a little slower than the turbo h22 but it will be more reliable.

well i think the tsx will yield a higher c/r but sill cost a little more, an element and accord and new cr/v's all have k24's in them...i wanna say 9.6:1 is what one guy got with the k24 from a tsx, and k20a2 head on an all motor build.

Re: (vtecspeed1320)
I love the k20a
been driving for about a month (since install) power & gearing is unbeatable IMO.
I have a type r k20a + RBC intake mani + Hytech header + toda flywheel + exedy stg 2 clutch + DSS stg 3 axles. only thing is the cost
I chose the type r k20a b/c off higher compression, better cams, better gearing + OEM LSD (2nd gears best friend)
