I am in no way trying to attempt this swap but I just want to know has it been done in 94-97 accords only.

Yes it's been done, I think it was sport compact car mag that did a K24 into a 1996 Accord coupe using custom hasport mounts. It was a little easier than a K20 swap into a civic because the accord has shift cables from factory like all oem k20/k24 equiped cars.
