K series tranny on B series motor?

Has it been done?

I can get my hands on a k tranny for pretty cheap, and like the idea of having 6 gears on my soon to be B16 turbo beast...

not a chance dude. the K motor spins clockwise, and the B motor spins counter clockwise. if by any chance(which i know wont) it bolts up, the only gear youd be able to forward in is the reverse. you would have 6 reverse gears, and 1 forward gear. get the transmission, and hang on to it for bartering, or get it to start stockpiling parts for a future swap. dont pass up a good deal.

in 2002 i was working in a independent honda and acura service garage that had a K20A2 short block and head, and a K20A2 long block. instead of buying them i just advertised them for my boss, i never knew what i had in my hands. so dont pass it up, i could have had all the stuff for $300.00
