Hmm...which tranny do you have specifically? Cuz if you have a Z1 trans, you'll have issues with the VSS.
For the least amount of headaches run either a 02-04 K20A2 or JDM K20A-R engine and run a set of 06+ TSX camshafts (they're actually better cam profiles than R cams).
A K20Z1 will work, but with slight downsides, mainly the ECU you cannot use. You'll have to run an A2 or K20A-R ecu and have it Kpro'd or just run an AEM EMS 'swap box'.
Stay away from the K20A3 series for sure (02-05 Si and 02-06 base RSX). You'll waste more money converting one of these to K20A2 or R spec, than just going A2/R from the get go.
K24's are dope and would be the faster setup, but it has a taller deck height. You'll run into head-to-hood clearance issues as well as oil pan to ground clearance issues....especially if you like riding low.
Or you can go custom...which entails stroking a K20 block to either 1.9L or 2.1L depending on which S2K crank you go with.
OR....you can go Kraftwerks supercharger kit (approx $2800-3200) on a K20A2. I recently test drove my friends EK w/one of these newly released 6-8psi kit on his stock A2 and OMG.... I HIGHLY recommend this kit. It doesn't have any supercharger sound effects, has SICK torque that feels EXACTLY like a K24 if not better...no definitely better, and just PUUUUULLLLLLS. I couldn't believe how sick his car felt on a stock A2! I was complete and utterly impressed.
Lurk around K20A.org....there's some great info on there.

Why go F2K? The K has just as much aftermarket support as the F20c/F22c
