Default K guys i need help!!

well i was told by hasport that there mounts will not work on a k20z3, what i want to knoe is if all the k block castings have the same mounting holes as each other, similar to the b series blocks. if this is true can i put those mount brackets from a a2 block and use hasport mounts? thanx in advanced

I believe the bell housing for the tranny is the same as the TSX and '05-'06 RSX-S', in which case the mounts won't work for. The mounts with the the '02-'04 transmission, which has a different casing to it. I believe the mounting holes for the tranny still lines up, just the shape is a little different for the mount. Try and find an '02-'04 tranny and swap the Z3's tranny internals and LSD into it.

the transmission cases for the newer rsx-s motors will not work with the hasport mounts. It sux yes but you can modify the mounts to work.

Yes, block mounts are the same, it's the transmission mount which is different. As vtecspeed1320 said, you can modify them to work, or find an 02-04 case and swap internals.

do you have access to a welder and someone that knows how to use it, and a grinder and maybe a few other things just depends. Never done it just know it can be done.
