Default just got my swap back- ECT wired incorrectly?

my problem is that:
my temperature gauge is dead...nothing!

so i looked a few things up, and i found the following

the ect was wired indipendently from the sensor to the ecu into the pin that corresponds to the vtec pressure switch.
is this supposed to be wired like that, no right?....
just wanted to see if someone can reassure me into re-wiring this into the ECT,
ill appreciate it. thanks

by the way its a 96 dx with a 94b18c, using an ex harness and a obd2a to obd1 jumper harness and a p72 ecu.

On your stock OBD2 harness, D2 (Red/Wht) is the ECT input. The Grn/Blk wire goes to a junction harness with a bunch of other Grn/Blk wires and then onto D11.

However, the temp gauge sending unit (a seperate sensor altogether) output goes straight to the gauge itself.
