Just got my JDM GSR Swap in on my civic 4dr. Pictures soon to come.
Well i've been driving my car with my new engine. I have a JDM GSR in a 98 civic 4dr. Here are the specs:
JDM GSR Engine (from Hmotorsonline)
ACT S/S Clutch
ACT 12lb flywheel
Hasport Mount
AEM short ramintake
HKS hiper exhaust system

It is a huge difference in power over my stock d16y8 with IHE. Iam still breaking in the clutch but i've taken it up to vtec a few times (no burnouts though or hard launchs). It really pulls hard in 2nd to 3rd. I can't wait to take it to the strip and test drive it. My only complaint is that the engine vibrates alot.
I can't wait untill I can get a turbo kit next summer. Right now i really need some new tires to hold up to all the new power.
I also learned that with JDM axles you lose your ABS. I need to get some USDM ITR or GSR axles inorder to recover my ABS
Hey also look at my sig if you need any D series parts. I need to pay off this swap. My prices are also negotiable.
